What Makes Your School Special? Video showcase for ACSA Region 6 participants
What would you say when someone asks you about your school? Yes, your staff cares about kids, but what is a program or activity that energizes and inspires your students? Could you share the story of that program so that children in other schools would benefit?
Rushton Hurley, author of the book “Making Your School Something Special” focuses on *Why fostering and sharing successes benefits everyone, *How to know, and help others know, what makes your school special, and more.
We are challenging ACSA Region 6 administrators to produce a simple, short video describing a program or activity that you are proud your school / district offers. By telling the stories of the Region 6, we hope to inspire others near and far to make great things happen for their students, as well.
Using any tool you wish (Adobe Spark, WeVideo.com, iMovie, Premiere Pro, etc.), create a video of no longer than 45 seconds and the link to . For every entry received by April 15, 2019, Mr Hurley will provide feedback to help you improve it. Final entries are due by the end of day on May 3, 2019. In addition to creating one or more videos that help tell the stories of your school for your community, the top videos will be shared at our conference in June. Videos will be shared on Region 6’s website.
