Good afternoon, Business Services Council,
On behalf of Ruben, Sean, Kordell, and myself, thank you for an outstanding year. Each of our meetings was marked by thoughtful dialogue and strong engagement, and we’re truly grateful for your contributions. Attached are the minutes from our final meeting of this fiscal year, courtesy of Dr. Dawnalyn Murakawa-Leopard.
During our meeting, we celebrated Ruben Hernandez’s exceptional service as Council President and officially welcomed Sean Martin into the role. Ruben will continue to support the council as Past President for the next two years, providing continuity and guidance until a new President-Elect is selected. Looking ahead, we will also be electing a new Legislative Policy Committee liaison in October. Additional information about the position and its responsibilities will be shared in the coming months.
Upcoming CalPERS Meeting
In an additional follow-up item from last week’s meeting, CalPERS is hosting a webinar on their Asset Liability Management (ALM) efforts, including an update on their total portfolio concept.
