The State Superintendent of Instruction, University of California, and the CSU Chancellor’s Office are proud to collaborate with Tulare County Office of Education to host the 2nd Annual “Breaking Barriers” Professional Development Conference in Tulare County.
Administrators, counselors, teachers, support staff, and college faculty members are invited to learn of recent case studies and local model schools in California that are paving the way with transformational strategies. Join us as model schools share their approaches to eliminating barriers to learning while creating seamless transitions to higher institutes of education.
The keynote speaker will be Robyn Fisher Ed.D., President/CEO, R.T. Fisher Educational Enterprises, Inc. (RTF). Since founding RTF in 1999, Dr. Fisher has subsequently co-founded and chaired an umbrella of initiatives directed towards academic excellence in the Bay Area’s communities of color, including both the African American Regional Educational Alliance, Inc. (AAREA), and The Choose College Educational Foundation, Inc. (CCEF). She currently serves as the Project Director for the California Academic Partnership Program, California Demonstration Project (CAPP CDF).
