Melanie Matta received the Innovator of the Year award at Parsec Education’s annual conference for her efforts in disrupting the status quo and pioneering innovative, equitable opportunities that empower students and transform education. Parsec Education is a leading innovator in data-driven decision-making, providing schools and districts with powerful tools to enhance transparency, track progress, and drive continuous improvement. “My collaboration with Parsec Education has centered on leveraging data to build a growth-driven culture, where educators, students, and leaders use real-time insights to inform instruction, foster equity, and embrace failure as a stepping stone to success,” she said. Melanie is the superintendent/principal at Hope Elementary in Porterville and a member of the Tulare Charter. She is pictured with Eugene Park, founder of Parsec Education.
