IRON SHARPENS IRON
At today’s ACSA Region XI meeting, President Danny Arellano shared a light-hearted video which made it clear that everyone needs a hype-man and presented his “Iron Sharpens Iron” perpetual trophy to Dr. Donya Ball. He chose Donya as the inaugural recipient of this trophy because a few months ago when he bounced the idea off of her of making “Iron Sharpens Iron” the theme for his presidency, she encouraged him to go for it. “Thank you for being that person to get me going from the start,” he said to her. “Your leadership is so impressive and spot on … there is no doubt this will be a fantastic year,” she said. Donya has been tasked with coming to the October meeting with a different video that showcases “Iron Sharpens Iron” and presenting the trophy to another deserving recipient.
