Region 7 is well represented at State ACSA Leadership Assembly in Anaheim.   Delegates include Dr. Ben Howell, ACSA Region 7 President; Jared Hungerford; State ACSA VP, Leg Action; Kristin Lilly-Tiger, Region 7 Past President, Janelle DeGreek, Region 7 Secretary; Monica Lombardo, Region 7 VP, Programs; Lucia Hernandez, Region 7 VP Leg Action; Jennifer Houser, Region 7’s Board of Director to State ACSA; and Mary Ann Sanders, Region 7 Executive Director/Consultant.  Region 7 also has two new region delegates – Matt Hutsell, State ACSA Middle Grades Council Chair and Marilyn Croft, State ACSA CEL Council Chair.  The ACSA Leadership Assembly serves as a governing and advisory body that helps shape the direction and priorities of the association. Its responsibilities include electing officers, approving bylaw changes and organizational goals, establishing legislative policies and priorities, and advising the State Board on key issues, public policy, ballot measures, and candidate endorsements. The Leadership Assembly also identifies emerging educational issues and challenges, gathers input from regions and local leaders, supports ACSA’s strategic plan, and ensures regional perspectives are represented in statewide decision-making.
