ACSA Region 7’s Women’s Leadership Network hosted a fun and inspiring evening on March 9th at the Ceres Community Center with their event, “Sip. Shop. Self-Care.” School administrators from across the region gathered to connect with colleagues, relax, and focus on the importance of self-care.

Attendees enjoyed networking while browsing a pop-up market featuring local vendors, offering a variety of unique items for shopping. Light drinks and snacks were served as participants mingled and enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere.

A highlight of the evening was a presentation by Dr. Christina Alviso of Ceres Unified School District, who shared thoughtful insights on the importance of self-care for educational leaders. Her message reminded attendees that taking time to care for themselves helps them continue to lead and support their schools effectively.

ACSA Region 7 extends a special thank you to Higgenbotham Public Sector for generously sponsoring the event and helping make the evening possible.

Recognition also goes to the dedicated planning committee who organized the event: Laura Granger, Kristi Britton, Janelle DeGreek, Sitara Ali, Arti Naranyan, Kim Kelly, and Christine Facella.

The Women’s Leadership Network continues to provide meaningful opportunities for connection, professional growth, and support among leaders throughout Region 7.
