What an incredible year for ACSA Region 7! Thanks to the remarkable efforts of our members and membership team, Region 7 finished #2 in the state with a 7.23% membership increase, far surpassing the 2% growth benchmark! Only 9 of ACSA’s 19 regions achieved the Membership Growth Incentive—and Region 7 was one of them!
Membership growth is about so much more than numbers—it’s about strengthening the community that supports school leaders every day. Because of these collective efforts, ACSA closed the fiscal year with 19,123 active members, a net increase over the previous year.
We could not have achieved this without the amazing members of Region 7! A special thank you to our VPs of Membership—Jennifer Houser, Bob Lee, Dr. Denise Wickham, Patricia Horn, Jane Chamberlain, Carrie Duckart, and Steve Sweitzer—and to our incredible Ambassadors, Barbara McCleskey, Barbara Magpusao, Ramona Soto-Barajas, Carrie Duckart, and Dave Urquhart. This past weekend, the Region 7 membership team—Deborah Rowe, Bob Lee, Jennifer Houser, and Tami Garcia—gathered in Sacramento for ACSA’s annual summer Member Services training for recruiters, ambassadors, and Member Services committee members. This year’s theme was “ACSA in Wonderland,” and Region 7 was well represented!
