On Tuesday, September 24, Region 7 hosted its largest General Membership Assembly (GMA) to date at the Chicken Ranch Casino & Resort. The evening brought together administrators and educational leaders from across the region for networking, professional learning, and important updates from State ACSA, the region, and local charters.
We were honored to welcome ACSA State President Dr. Daryl Camp as our guest speaker. Dr. Camp, who previously served as Region 7 President and now leads the San Lorenzo Unified School District as Superintendent, shared a powerful message focused on leadership, the value of active involvement in ACSA, and the importance of self-care in the work we do each day.
In a fun tribute, members greeted Dr. Camp wearing bow ties—his signature accessory—which added a touch of celebration and camaraderie to the evening.
The event also provided opportunities for members to connect with colleagues, exchange ideas, meet new friends, and learn about upcoming events and initiatives happening throughout the region and across the state.
Thank you to all who attended and contributed to making this our most successful General Membership Assembly yet! A special thank you to our sponsor, Grand Canyon University.
