Dear ACSA Region 15 Members,

On behalf of the ACSA Region 15 Board, I am grateful for your unwavering dedication and exceptional service as administrative leaders. Your commitment to excellence, equity, and student success inspires and uplifts our educational communities across the region.

The 25-26 ACSA Region 15 theme is “Lead with Care.” In times marked by complexity and rapid change, this theme reflects the leadership we hope to model and the deeply human connection we must continue to foster. Leading with care means making decisions grounded in empathy, supporting the well-being of our teams and students, and recognizing that strength in leadership comes from both vision and compassion.

The symbol of this theme is the dandelion. At first glance, the dandelion may appear simple, but it is a plant of great resilience and significance. It grows in even the most challenging conditions, adapts effortlessly to its environment, and carries with it the seeds of hope, transformation, and new beginnings. Just like the dandelion, effective educational leaders root deep, spread ideas, empower growth, and leave lasting impressions—even in places they may never personally go. Each seed carried by the wind represents a student influenced, a teacher supported, or a community inspired.

Your leadership mirrors this symbol. You plant the seeds of equity, inclusion, innovation, and care in your districts. Through your actions and decisions, you make it possible for students and staff to thrive today and into the future.

Thank you again for continuing to lead with both courage and care. The ACSA Region 15 Board is privileged to walk alongside you in this important work.

With sincere appreciation,
Natalie Taylor Barbiera
