ACSA Region 9 is proud to serve school administrators in the Central California counties of Fresno, Madera, Mariposa and Merced. Our website offers region events calendar, news and updates, officer and state representative contact information, charter boards, bylaws and policies and ways to recognize outstanding colleagues and students who have overcome all odds.

ACSA Region 9 Leadership Retreat

Special thanks to Eryn Wike of Effective School Solutions for her generous support of our Annual Retreat.  ESS partners with California school districts to provide a full continuum of mental health support — from universal Tier 1 prevention through their Behavioral Education Framework, to intensive in-district therapeutic programs as an alternative to NPS placements. And they help districts fund it all through Medi-Cal and CYBHI. We were grateful to have them with us.  Laine Whitaker provided such a valuable professional development session that poured back into our leaders who give so much of themselves in their day to day work. Our leaders left inspired and refreshed with the joy that she prompted us to discover within the recesses of our being. We were reminded of the curiosity that we have about others and the world around us and were able to practice a few “reset” options that invigorated us and put smiles on our faces.
