We Are ACSA
United in Purpose, Connected in Leadership
It is a tremendous honor to serve as President of ACSA Region 7—an extraordinary community of dedicated, innovative, and resilient leaders who are shaping the future of education in San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Calaveras, and Amador counties.
As part of the larger ACSA organization, Region 7 shares in the collective mission to advocate for and support California’s educational leaders and the students they serve. But our work is also deeply personal and rooted in the unique needs, challenges, and strengths of our local communities.
Our region embodies the ACSA vision to ensure every student has access to a quality public education through inspired leadership. Whether you’re leading an elementary site, supporting special education services, managing district-wide operations, or mentoring the next generation of administrators, your contributions matter—and they make a real difference.
ACSA’s strategic priorities—Leadership Development, Advocacy, Member Services, and Organizational Sustainability—are the foundation of our work in Region 7. This year, we will:
- Expand regional professional learning to support leaders at every stage of their career
- Engage in advocacy efforts to ensure our voices are heard in policy conversations that impact rural, suburban, and urban districts alike
- Celebrate and recognize the excellence of our students, support staff, and members through our annual awards and recognitions
- And foster meaningful connections across counties, creating a network of support, collaboration, and shared learning
I’m proud of the work being done in Region 7—not just by those with elected positions, but by every educational leader who shows up each day for their staff, students, and communities. In the face of uncertainty, we remain committed to equity, innovation, and student-centered leadership.
Let’s continue to build a strong, inclusive Region 7 where every member feels seen, heard, valued, supported, and empowered to lead boldly.
Isaías Rumayor, Jr., Ed.D.
