On 4/8/19 a team of Region 18 leaders traveled to Sacramento to participate in ACSA’s Legislative Action Day. We met with our state senators, state assembly people, and their teams, to advocate for education. We were advocating for three areas and in support of key assembly or senate bills:
- LCFF (AB 39)
- Special Education (AB 428)
- Student Mental Health (AB 1546, AB 1126, SB 582)
