ACSA Region 8 Women\u2019s Leadership Network Focuses on Radical Self-Care for Leaders<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

ACSA Region 8\u2019s Women\u2019s Leadership Network recently hosted an inspiring and reflective session titled \u201cRadical Self-Care for Leaders: A C.A.R.E. Framework for Women Leading in Education,\u201d<\/i><\/span> presented by Nicole Steward, MSW.<\/p>\n

The session created space for educational leaders to pause, reflect, and engage in meaningful conversations about the importance of self-care in leadership. Participants explored the C.A.R.E. framework and discussed practical strategies to support personal wellness while continuing to lead schools and organizations with purpose, compassion, and resilience.<\/p>\n

Women in educational leadership often balance immense responsibilities while supporting students, staff, families, and communities. This presentation served as a powerful reminder that sustainable leadership begins with caring for ourselves as intentionally as we care for others.<\/p>\n

The event also provided an opportunity for leaders across Region 8 to connect, share experiences, and strengthen their leadership community in a supportive and empowering environment.<\/p>\n
