ACSA Region 7\u2019s Leadership Training, led by Region President Dr. Ben Howell, provided a valuable opportunity for leaders from throughout the region to strengthen their knowledge, expand their professional connections, and grow in their leadership roles within ACSA.<\/p>\n
The training focused on building a deeper understanding of ACSA\u2019s structure, programs, and services while encouraging leaders to become more actively engaged within the organization. Participants learned how ACSA supports educational leaders at the local, regional, and state levels and explored ways to make meaningful contributions to the association.<\/p>\n
A key message woven throughout the training was ACSA\u2019s theme for the year: \u201cYou Belong Here.\u201d<\/strong> This message will continue to serve as the foundation for Region 7 events and activities, fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment where every member feels valued and connected.<\/p>\n In addition, charter officers and committee and council representatives received specific guidance regarding their roles and responsibilities as leaders within the organization. The training emphasized the importance of collaboration, mentorship, and effective leadership practices that support both members and students across the region.<\/p>\n The goal of the Leadership Training was to strengthen relationships, develop confident and informed leaders, and build a network of support that will help advance ACSA\u2019s mission throughout Region 7.
