{"id":295,"date":"2014-07-11T00:07:27","date_gmt":"2014-07-11T00:07:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/regions.acsa.org\/6\/"},"modified":"2025-07-14T23:21:36","modified_gmt":"2025-07-14T23:21:36","slug":"scholarships","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/regions.acsa.org\/6\/awardsscholarshipsgrants\/scholarships\/","title":{"rendered":"Scholarships"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Scholarships<\/h2>\n<p>Each year, ACSA Region 6 provides scholarships for ACSA members to pursue Professional Development activities and Student Scholarships to assist members\u2019 children with post-secondary education at a 2 or 4-year college.<\/p>\n<h3>Professional Development Scholarships<\/h3>\n<p>Professional Development Scholarship applications are <strong>due on November 1, 2025<\/strong>. <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Members are eligible to receive a scholarship (up to $500) for ACSA Academy TUITION once every three years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This scholarship is a reimbursement one. Recipients will receive a reimbursement check upon completion of requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Applications should be filled out and emailed to:<\/p>\n<p>Rose Lock, Executive Director, ACSA Region 6 (see application form)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Download <a href=\"http:\/\/regions.acsa.org\/6\/files\/2025\/07\/PD-Scholarship-Application-Fillable-7.10.25.pdf\">PD Scholarship Application Fillable 7.10.25<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Bob Blackburn Student Scholarship Award<\/h3>\n<p>ACSA Region 6 offers <strong>$2000 scholarships<\/strong> to eligible students in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.
