Great turnout for the first NVC meeting for the 2023-24 year, held August 11, 2023 at Flight 126 Cafe in Santa Paula.\u00a0 The 7:00 a.m. meeting brought in members from most of our NVC districts.\u00a0 The NVC schedule for the year as well as the annual budget were on the agenda.\u00a0 New President Neil Virani helped us plan and brainstorm some of our events, including a scheduled Superintendent’s Forum for October.\u00a0 Mayra Vega-Manriquez was installed as the new Vice President for Legislative Action and Lydio Olivo as our Equity Representative.<\/p>\n

The North Ventura Charter meets monthly and alternates meetings between Ventura and Santa Paula locations as well as having 1 Zoom meeting during the year.\u00a0 NVC Meetings are open to all administrators (Certificated and Classified) as well as Confidential staff and all prospective administrators (our great Student Members) in the Ventura, Santa Paula, Fillmore, Ojai, Briggs and Mupu districts and all are invited to join us and help to shape our outstanding charter and its activities.<\/p>\n

Our meeting dates and locations are noted on the Region 13 calendar. NVC Meetings start at 7:00 a.m.<\/p>\n
