To that end, ACSA is structured with issue-focused committees and job-alike councils made up of education leaders. Region XI still has four openings on state committees\/councils next year:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">CAPEA Committee<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Classified Education Leaders Council<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Co-Administration Committee<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Education Options Committee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Go to <span class=\"s1\"><i>acsa.org\/About-Us\/committees-councils<\/i><\/span> to view descriptions of each council or committee and contact information to learn more.<\/p>\n<p>The expectations of a representative to a state council or committee are:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li4\">Attend all state committee meetings, or send an alternate.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">Prepare a written\/oral report to be presented at the first region board meeting\/region leadership assembly following each state meeting<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">Submit a summary of committee\/council actions to the Director of Communications for publication in the region newsletter.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">Establish and coordinate region committee\/council meetings, as needed.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">Maintain regular communications\/networking with your job-alike colleagues regarding activities of your state meetings.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Attend region planning retreat and\/or orientation workshop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p3\">If interested, complete the nomination form, <span class=\"s1\"><i>https:\/\/bit.ly\/CommCounNomForm<\/i><\/span> and return it to Rodney Brumit, <span class=\"s1\"><i>rbrumit@luhsd.k12.ca.us<\/i><\/span>.
