History was made Thursday, May 7 when the ACSA Leadership Assembly was held virtually for the first time. Delegates from all regions participated with a total of 174 delegates and members participating. Not only did State ACSA hold the Leadership Assembly virtually but voting for the new ACSA state vice president was held With the vote a couple of run offs were held. And to top the voting off it was glitch-free. Erin Simon was elected as the new ACSA State Vice President.
But most important of all, Region 9 was well represented in the Leadership Assembly in making history count. President, Lynn Rocha Salazar; President Elect, Malati Gopal; Region 9 State Director, Robert Frausto; VP Leg Action, Michi English;and Delegate, Debra Odom all were involved with this major event.
