Region 12 receives two state awards at ACSA’s November Leadership Summit in San Diego

Region 12 took the spotlight at State ACSA’s recent Leadership Summit in San Diego during the State Awards dinner event.

Dr. Mary McNeil (Needles USD), received the State Superintendent of the Year award. San Bernardino County Office of Education (SBCSS) received the top “Partners in Educational Excellence” award for its Footsteps2Brilliance program that was a multi-department endeavor.

Earlier in the Summit, our region’s Every Student Succeeding (ESS) selection, Jessica Corona of CEC Goodwill High School in VVUHSD,  was also feted with others from around the state at the ESS Luncheon.
