Region 12 holds first Leadership Assembly of the 2018-19 Year on October 22, 2018

Region 12’s first L.A. meeting was held at Azusa Pacific University’s San Bernardino campus on October 22. The Leadership Assembly is comprosed of specific groups of people with leadership positions at the charter, region and state level. In addition to standard business items, this meeting included two special presentations. One, by County Supt. of Schools Ted Alejandre and SBCUSD Chief of Police Joseph Paulino, shared out on the Fatal School Violence Task Force and its recommendations. This was also featured at the subsequent November State ACSA Leadership Summit in San Diego. Another presentation was by region leaders Dr. Ryan Rubio and Dana Carter, who attended the National Association of School Superintendents (NASS) National Leadership and Advocacy Conference in Washington, D.C. Sept. 23-25. NASS and ACSA have a partnership.
